About Lockbox

Think of Info Lockbox like your online safe deposit box. You can use it to store insurance or other personal information and allow a loved one to have access to it in case something ever happens to you.

The idea is not necessarily to store highly sensitive data (such full social security numbers or bank information), but rather to store reminders about important documents, contacts, or policies that your family will need to be aware of in the event of your absence.

For example: if you pass away with a life insurance policy in force, but your family is unaware of the policy, how would they know to file a claim? You can use your lockbox to store the policy number, amount, and agent contact info and provide a login for your loved ones to access the information if you're deceased or incapacitated.

Some other examples of the type of data our customers store in their personal lockboxes:

• Bank info (such as the financial institution and partial account number, so that your family will be aware of accounts that you hold).
• Brokerage accounts, mutual funds, and retirement accounts

How do I sign up?

Info Lockbox eligibility is a bundled benefit included with certain medical, dental, and vision insurance policies and to individuals who have joined Benefits Association, Inc., or Travel & Fitness Association. If you are eligible, just complete the short account setup process. Once your eligibility is verified, you will be able to log in and start adding information to your Lockbox.
